Friday is Day 1 of the 75th annual San Benito County Saddle Horse Show & Rodeo. Here’s what’s on tap:

In the morning, there will be class eliminations at 8 a.m., a free event. The Western art and equipment show, another free event, is set for 3 p.m.

In the evening, the Wine & Cheese reception will take place at 5 p.m. Each glass of wine for the tasting is $1 or 6 for $5.

The Elks’ Barbecue Under the Trees also is at 5 p.m. Prices are $12 for adults, $6 for kids ages 6 to 12 and free for those under 6.

Finishing off the night in grand style, the Rodeo and Horse Show is scheduled for 7 p.m. Reserved seating is $7 for adults and $3 for kids 11 and under.
