Friends and family are invited to share memories and stories of him at a Celebration of Life service to be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at 1:00 P.M. at the San Jose Police Officers Association Hall, 1151 North Fourth Street, San Jose, CA 95112.
Roger migrated to Morgan Hill at the tender age of four and has been a long time resident for the past 66 years.
A Marine veteran and a retired member of the San Jose Police, he served both his country and city with honor.
Roger is survived by his son Konrad Finton, daughter Victoria Sofris, sister Mary Jane Howlett, grandchildren: Jeremy Sofris, Mariah Farnan Lozano, Cheyenne Finton, and Michaela Finton and his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
