There were 32 entries in the 2009 Saddle Horse Show Parade taking home ribbons in such categories as best of show and top horse-drawn wagon.

There were 80 parade entries overall in the procession along San Benito Street. The following are the ribbon winners for this year (Look back in a short while for photos from the parade):

First place:

Best of show: Swank Farms Produce

Spirit award: Mari Davis

Horse-drawn wagon: San Benito Horse Association

Horse-drawn stage: Wells Fargo Bank

Equestrian – singles and small groups: Rancho Alegre Andalusians

Equestrian – small group: Stelling Ranch

Equestrian – color guards: California Rodeo Salinas

Equestrian – mounted groups: San Benito County Search and Rescue

Equestrian – early California: Alta California Riders

Commercial – novelty: Casa de Fruta

Commercial – Western: LTD SUV Luxury Limousines

Commercial – youth group: Off the Chain Bikes

Nonprofit – charitable: Hope Services

Nonprofit – seniors: Hazel’s Thrift Shop
