Lisa Anne Morrell and Matthew Edward Solorio were married Oct. 4, 2008 at the Eagle Ridge Golf Course and Country Club in Gilroy.
Lisa, a graduate of Live Oak High School, currently works for a medical laboratory.
Matt, also a graduate of Live Oak High School, is a police officer.
The couple celebrated their honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii for seven days.

Chris Gimenez and Kellie Burton are engaged to marry Nov. 7, 2009 at Winchester Country Club in Meadow Vista.
Kellie, daughter of Karen and Larry Burton, has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno. She is a sales and marketing representative for Ford Motor.
Chris, son of Pam and Paul Gimenez, is working toward a bachelor’s degree at the University of Nevada, Reno. He is a professional baseball player for the Cleveland Indians.
The couple will invite their closest family and friends to celebrate the fall wedding in the foothills of the Sierras.

Anna Dennis and Jonathon Digby are engaged to marry July 12, 2009 at The Overlook House in Portland, Ore.
Anna, daughter of Daniel and Christine Sloand of Hollister, graduated in 2008 from Willamette University in Salem, Ore., with a degree in biology. She currently works as a lab assistant at Willamette University.
Jonathon, son of Dennis and Patricia Digby of Wilsonville, Ore., will graduate from Oregon State University in June, with a degree in engineering. Upon graduation, he will work as an engineer at a company near Portland.
The couple will reside in Oregon.

In just over 12 months, Austin Hudson baked, boiled, mixed and measured his way through five prior patches to earn his Young Chefs Academy Phase 1 Black Patch and Chefs Coat at the Young Chefs Academy Jan. 17, 2009.
Austin, 9, is the son of Evelyn Hudson of Gilroy.
