Victoria Ann Camarillo and Devin Douglas Hogue are engaged to be married.

Victoria, daughter of Michael and Laurie Camarillo, attended Gilroy High School and is currently a child care worker in San Jose.

Devin, son of Danny Hogue and Carole Jeske, attended Milpitas Adult Education and is currently a home office worker.

The ceremony will be held Oct. 9, 2010, at Gilroy Presbyterian Church followed by a reception at the Veterans Memorial Hall. The couple will reside in Gilroy.

HONORS

Bryan Villar

Army Pvt. Bryan D. Villar has graduated from One Station Unit Training at Fort Knox, Ky., which consisted of basic military training and advanced individual training.

During the first nine weeks of basic combat training, the trainee received instruction in drill and ceremony, weapons, rifle marksmanship qualification, bayonet combat, chemical warfare, field training and tactical exercises, marches, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, traditions and core values.

During advanced training, the soldier completed the seven-week cavalry scout course. The training included subjects and instructions to operate, maintain and fire M2/M3 Bradley fighting vehicles; call and adjust fire on enemy targets, recognize friendly and threat vehicles; conduct reconnaissance and security missions, perform foot patrols, conduct land navigation, locate and neutralize mines; and operate and maintain scout vehicles.

Villar is the son of Dave and Monica Villar of Gilroy and a 2008 graduate of Gilroy High School.

Anthony Douglas Graham

Anthony Douglas Graham will attend the United States Military Academy at West Point, as a member of the class of 2014.

Anthony is a senior at Bellarmine College Preparatory where he has balanced academics, sports and community service over the past four years. He plays on the Bellarmine varsity rugby team and is an assistant coach of the sixth grade girl’s basketball team at Holy Spirit School in San Jose. Anthony will report to West Point for basic training at the end of June.

He is the son of Douglas and Margaret Graham of Morgan Hill.

Marisa Struzik

Marisa Struzik, a sophomore at California State University Fullerton, is a member of Cal State Fullerton’s Titans Dance Team, which won their 9th National Championship title for UDA Division 1 Dance in Orlando, Fla. The dancers competed against thousands of the top college dancers from throughout the country and Puerto Rico at the 2010 College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship. The team garnered top scores to win its ninth title in the last 11 years.

Marisa, a 2008 graduate of Live Oak High School, was a member of the cheerleading squad for three years and danced with a local studio for 12 years. She was a Morgan Hill Pop Warner Raider cheerleader for two years and coached the Morgan Hill Pop Warner Raider Dance team.

Jordan Rene Ortiz was born Dec. 13, 2009, at Saint Louise Regional Hospital to Crystal Newton and Shawn Ortiz of Gilroy. The baby weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces.

Zylah Marie Perez

Zylah Marie Perez was born Jan. 27, 2010 at Hazel Hawkins Hospital to Jose and Teresa Perez of Hollister. She weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces.

Ally Cora Espinoza

Ally Cora Espinoza was born Jan. 4, 2010 at Saint Louise Regional Hospital to Alicia Lopez and Abram Espinoza of Hollister. She weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces.
