Air Force Airman Manuel Grimaldo has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations.
In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
He is the son of Alice Grimaldo of Hollister and a 2007 graduate of San Benito High School.

Jacob Donald Larios
Jacob Donald Larios was born Oct. 12, 2007 to parents Tony and Teresa Toledo of Yuba City; grandparents Frank and Teri Toledo of Prunedale and Tom and Cheryl Larios of Hollister; great-grandparents Barbara Corona of Hollister, Robert Cirelli of Hollister and Evelyn Prudhon of Oregon; and great-great grandmother Melba Corona. He weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces.
Fiona Marie Mason
Fiona Marie Mason was born Nov. 13, 2007 at Good Samaritan Hospital to parents Darin and Patricia Mason of Morgan Hill. She weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces.
WEDDING
Andrade/Carman
Wayne Andrade, son of Tom and Kathy Andrade of Morgan Hill, married Erin Carman, daughter of John and Leslie Carman of San Ramon, on Oct. 13, 2007 at Mission San Juan Bautista. A reception followed at San Juan Oaks Country Golf Club.
Wayne graduated from Chico State with a bachelor’s degree in geology and is employed by Krazen & Associates, Inc.
Erin graduated from Chico State with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and is a teacher with the Fresno Unified School District.
The couple make their home in Fresno.
