Sherell Sicley of San Jose is engaged to Dustin Mannina of San Jose.
Sherell is the daughter of Sher Sicley, of Gilroy, and the late Sam Sicley. She is a graduate of Menlo College with a bachelor’s degree in human resources.
Dustin is the son of Annie Heath of Sunnyvale and Harrett Mannina of San Jose. He received a bachelor’s degree in business management from Menlo College.
The couple plan to wed in July 2008 at CordeValle. A honeymoon is planned for Tahiti. The couple will reside in San Jose.

Gilroy students accepted into National Honor Society
Gilroy residents Katherine Kwong, Miranda May and Sara Henderson, students at Monte Vista Christian School in Watsonville, were inducted into membership of the National Honor Society in an evening ceremony at the school on Oct. 16. They were selected by a faculty council for meeting high standards of scholarship, service, leadership and character.
The National Honor Society ranks as one of the oldest and most prestigious national organizations for high school students. Membership is considered to be both an honor and a commitment, as students pledge to use their talents and skills for the improvement of society.
“Katherine, Miranda and Sara show a wonderful combination of academic achievement, contributions to their communities, ability to inspire others and personal integrity,” said Steve Sharp, superintendent of Monte Vista Christian School. “We’re pleased to see them recognized in this way.”

Lisa Cassara of Coldwell Banker has recently earned the California Association of Realtors Graduate, Realtor Institute, a nationally recognized GRI real estate designation.
To earn the GRI designation, you must complete an intensive 14 course series of live lecture courses designed to improve marketing and negotiating skills, learn the latest in technology, provide an understanding of the new disclosures and legal aspects of real estate, and become familiar with the latest trends in financing.
Lisa’s belief in maintaining 100 percent customer satisfaction is evident by her continued success. She finds that obtaining the GRI designation validates her high standards and will allow her to continue to maintain her level of service that she gives to her clients.
