Macey Mitchell will perform in the London New Year's Day Parade.

Macey Mitchell: Macey Mitchell, from Christopher High School in Gilroy, is one of more than 700 high school cheerleaders and dancers from across the United States who will perform in the London New Year’s Day Parade.
The 17-year-old senior will dance to Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off,” and the performance will be recorded for American audiences.
Individuals invited to perform qualified for the trip after being selected as All American at one of the summer camps hosted by Universal Cheerleaders Association, National Cheerleaders Association, United Spirit Association, Universal Dance Association and National Dance Alliance. All Americans are selected to try out based on superior cheerleading skills at camps across the country.
