Caltrans is doing work on Nash Road today on the second and final day for the asphalt project.

The project involves work on Highway 25 from Southside Road to Nash Road. It took place earlier this month and again today, in the commercial area of the city near Safeway and Kmart.

The work is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This project will include a pavement seal to improve the condition of the road.

According to Caltrans, drivers will encounter one-way reversing traffic control with flaggers on both of these dates. This $100,000 project is managed by Caltrans Maintenance.

For traffic updates on other state highway projects in San Benito County, the public can call Caltrans District 5 Public Affairs at 831-423-0396 or visit the District 5 website at dot.ca.gov/dist05/maint/road/upscr.htm.
