The San Benito County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce awarded 10 scholarships of $500 each to local students Wednesday. Last year, the chamber gave eight scholarships away, and the goal for next year is to hand out 12, Vivian said. “We want to keep pumping that number up,” he said.
