Get well wishes go out to many
Boy, time sure does fly when you’re having fun. I was so busy
last week I forgot to send in my column! I’ll try to catch you up
on the past two weeks happenings in this column, though.
First and foremost, get well wishes go out to plenty of folks
this week. Ross Rianda is now home and recovering nicely from a
health scare two weeks ago while Pat Regan is home and recovering
after a brief hospital stay as well. Both guys are strong as an ox
so I’m sure they’ll be out and about in no time.

Boy, time sure does fly when you’re having fun. I was so busy last week I forgot to send in my column! I’ll try to catch you up on the past two weeks happenings in this column, though.

First and foremost, get well wishes go out to plenty of folks this week. Ross Rianda is now home and recovering nicely from a health scare two weeks ago while Pat Regan is home and recovering after a brief hospital stay as well. Both guys are strong as an ox so I’m sure they’ll be out and about in no time.

Blake and Jessika Willougby are expecting their first child in May, but baby girl Tulsa Rayne has decided she doesn’t want to wait till then so she tried to make an early entrance into the world a few weeks ago. Fortunately, the doctors were able to halt her labor, but Jess is now in the hospital on complete bed rest until the baby arrives. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to everyone!

Many birthdays have been celebrated the past few weeks as well. Birthday wishes go out to Jeff and Melissa Popnoe who celebrated on Feb. 25 and Feb. 27, while Janel Flook celebrated on March 3 and Ellie Porteur on March 7. A couple of big birthday celebrations will be taking place a little later this month.

Mark and Shellie Silveira will be hosting hot lunch at Bitterwater Tully School this Friday at 11:30 a.m. Everyone is invited and encouraged to join the staff and students for lunch. The students are currently selling tickets for their annual Tri-Tip BBQ which will be held on March 26th in King City. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased from any student or staff member.

Many South County kids traveled to Clovis last weekend for a multidistrict high school rodeo. Some of those competing from our area included: Wyatt Naccarrato, Tommy and Megan Ford, Cash Robinson, Blaine and Blair Strohn, Kristy Melton, Sierra and Brody Sans, Cheyenne Rey, Taylor and Twyster Hurley and Wacey Barrington. A few of the kids came home with some money, but mostly they all had a great time.

Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead this weekend as we get ready to “spring forward.” Have a great week and be sure to give me a call or e-mail me with any news you’d like to share.
