South County pair celebrates wedding of the year
We, along with half of South County, just returned home from the
wedding of the year, and no, I definitely don’t mean the Clinton
wedding! The wedding we attended way outdid the Clinton wedding by
10-fold. The people were better, the location was better, the fun
was WAY better and I guarantee it didn’t cost $5 million!
A huge congratulations goes out to Mr. and Mrs. John Rianda who
were married July 31 in Hallock, Nev. There had to be at least 500
people in attendance. Kyla was a stunningly, beautiful bride as she
arrived in a horse drawn buggy and was walked down the aisle by her
stepdad. The wedding party consisted of eight bridesmaids, eight
groomsmen, two flower girls, two attendants and a ring bearer.

A huge congratulations goes out to Mr. and Mrs. John Rianda who were married July 31 in Hallock, Nev. There had to be at least 500 people in attendance. Kyla was a stunningly, beautiful bride as she arrived in a horse drawn buggy and was walked down the aisle by her stepdad. The wedding party consisted of eight bridesmaids, eight groomsmen, two flower girls, two attendants and a ring bearer. The setting was gorgeous as it was held on the lawn of the 71 Ranch at 6 p.m. while the sun was getting ready to set. The pictures are amazingly beautiful with the colorful Nevada sky in the background. The food was delicious and the party after was a blast as one of the best bands I’ve ever heard played until 3:30 in the morning. John and Kyla planned and pulled off one of the best weddings I have ever attended. They will be heading off for their honeymoon in Ireland later this month. Congratulations, guys. We love ya!

While half of South County was in Nevada, many others stayed home to attend the 90th birthday party of the legendary Phil Stadtler. His party was centrally located in Los Banos so many of his friends and family from all over could attend. Reportedly several hundred folks were on hand to help him celebrate. Happy Birthday, Phil!

Birthday wishes also go out to Dawson and Lila Bell who also celebrated their birthdays last week. The Bell Family spent the week in Nevada visiting with Dean’s family. For Lila’s birthday, Nikki and Johna prepared a treasure hunt for the kids to hunt on horseback around the town of Paradise Valley. They had a blast and found lots of treasures along the way. Then, while Dean and Nikki headed to Elko for the weekend, the kids stayed with John, Johna and the cousins to show their horses at the Winnemuca Ranch Hand Horseshow. Congratulations to the Bell Family kids for winning the Top Hand Family award. Those kids are definitely ones to watch for in the future.
