Holiday fundraisers start up
Can you beleive it’s the middle of November already?
Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away and football season is
almost over. Speaking of football season, my Broncos have really
fallen apart the last two weeks. Hopefully they can pull off
another win this weekend.
The Salinas Valley Fair Ranch Rodeo will be taking place this
weekend at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds. The weekend kicks off
with a barrel race on Friday night, a team roping on Saturday and
the ranch rodeo will end the weekend on Sunday. Be sure to check
out the fun this weekend at the fairgrounds.

Cynnie O’Connor will be hosting the Thanksgiving feast at Bitterwater Tully School on Nov. 24. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. Along with lunch, a raffle for a Christmas tree will be held that day as well. The tree has been donated by John and Tina Bourdet from Bourdet’s Christmas Tree Farm in Hollister. John and Tina have been donating trees to local schools for fundraisers for many years and they are very much appreciated. Thanks again John and Tina!
The annual See’s Candy fundraiser is under way at Bitterwater School until Nov. 30. If you’d like to order candy for your friends, co-workers or family, be sure to contact any Bitterwater student or the school.
