Tracie Eggleston will be hosting Bitterwater Tully School’s Halloween party on Halloween at Tully Hall. The festivities were scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. and continue until 7 p.m. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.
Congratulations to the Bitterwater Lady Badgers Volleyball team as they ended their season on a fine note. They participated in the Soledad Middle School Tournament last Saturday and after a long day of competition, ended up beating Chalone Peaks Middle School for the third place trophy.
Now that volleyball season is officially over for the Badgers, it’s on to basketball season! A new addition to the Badgers this year will be a boys’ basketball team! We finally have enough boys in the classroom to field a whole team and the boys are really excited. The boys’ team will be coached by Tamra Barrington and the Ladies will be coached by Lisa Hearne. Good luck Badgers!
Congratulations also go out to the daughters and granddaughters of John and Darlene Maggini. Shari (Maggini) Robasciotti and daughter Lindsey and Dawn (Maggini) Turner and daughter Lauren all participated in the Leukemia Lymphoma Marathon last week in San Francisco.
Dawn and Lauren did the 13 mile walk while Shari and Lindsey ran the 26-mile run. Wow! Twenty-six miles is equivalent to 94 laps around the high school track – that makes me tired just thinking about it! I have a hard enough time making it one mile, let alone 26. That is quite an accomplishment to be proud of, congratulations ladies!
Congratulations to the Boston Red Sox for another World Championship title as well. It was another clean sweep of the World Series for them. Hope my Broncos can fare as well tonight against the Packers!!
Have a great week everyone and be sure to give me a call or e-mail me with any news you’d like to share at
