Local teen rodeo rider set to compete in Vegas PBR
Another San Benito County Fair has come and gone and with it
came the cool, fall weather we’ve all been waiting for! The days
were nice and warm during the fair but the nights and mornings were
definitely fall-like weather.
Many South County kids from the Bitterwater 4-H Club
participated in the fair last week. Some of those participating
included Taylor Jo and Twyster Hurley, Emily Brewen, Wacey
Barrington, Tel and Megan Jones and Kayla Plunkett. All of the kids
did very well with their animals.

If you’re looking for something to do on Halloween weekend, pack your bags and take a quick trip to Vegas to root on Hollister’s own Cash Robinson who will be competing at the Professional Bull Riders World Championship. Cash was invited to compete in the junior bull riding at the PBR World Championship. It is quite an honor for him to be invited and I’m sure he’ll make Hollister proud with his efforts. Cash is an awesome junior bull rider now at the age of 14. Just think how good he’ll be when he gets older. He’s been practicing quite a bit these past few weeks in preparation for the event. For more information on the event, you can check out the PBR Web site, or, I’m sure his mom Ellie would be happy to share any information she has. Good luck, Cash. We’ll be rooting for you!
