S-U-C-C-E-S-S for Dual Language student Spell-A-Thon
The Hollister Dual Language Academy held a Spell-A-Thon March 31
for all kindergarten through second-grade students. The students
were given a list of English and Spanish words to study at home.
The words were generated from the students’ reading curriculum and
from the high-frequency word lists for the particular grade level.
Students with 100 percent scores will be given a prize, and the
class with the most 100 percent scores will receive an ice cream
sundae party. In a press release, staff congratulated students for
their hard work and thanked sponsors.
