With Palma set to visit Hollister next Thursday, the 'Balers knew they needed a confidence-building win, and got one, defeating the Mustangs 80-56.

It all came down to this. The San Benito girls track & field team needed to win the 4x400-meter relay in order to beat host Gilroy. And well into the final lap, the Haybalers were trailing the upstart Mustangs.
