Once again, the San Benito golf team had a strong showing but, again, Palma stood in their way. The Balers took second place in the Monterey Bay League’s Gabilan Division, carding a 212 to Palma’s 194 at Del Monte Golf Course in Monterey.

Roundup: Softball team improves to 14-3 with strong weekend
The San Benito softball team capped a 3-1 weekend Saturday with a 9-1 loss to Carlmont in the Mission City Tournament. The loss gave the Balers a 2-1 record during the tournament.
