On Monday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., the following streets will be
under construction: Chappell Street, Maple Street, Alvarado Street,
Recht Street and San Juan Drive.
The road work, to be completed by Sept. 9, is the first
installment of the Pavement Overlay and Road Reconstruction, the
most extensive road repair program in the city’s history.
On Monday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., the following streets will be under construction: Chappell Street, Maple Street, Alvarado Street, Recht Street and San Juan Drive.
The road work, to be completed by Sept. 9, is the first installment of the Pavement Overlay and Road Reconstruction, the most extensive road repair program in the city’s history. Forty-five streets will be worked on by the contracted firm, Graniterock. The work is scheduled to last for about 100 days.
It is a five-year program with a goal of eventually addressing every Hollister street on a rotating basis. The projects for this year will cost $2.3 million.
