A weekend of sunny holiday weather is predicted for the Fourth of July weekend.

The weather will be “pretty much what you see out the window,” said forecaster Diana Henderson of the National Weather Service. Temperatures will be “between god-awful warm, and hot,” says Henderson. Rain is a possibility on the Fourth of July, but residents don’t need to fear lightning.

The weather is expected to be in the upper 80s and 90s during the weekend, possibly hitting a triple digit by the coming midweek. On the Fourth of July, a high of 84 and a low of 55 is expected with morning fog.

Saturday will be mostly clear. The fog should burn off in the morning leaving beautiful sunny skies. Forecasters predict a high of 88 and a low of 56. The temperatures should climb throughout the weekend with a forecasted high of 90 on Sunday.
