Following a holiday break, the South Valley Symphony has resumed
its rehearsal schedule.
Following a holiday break, the South Valley Symphony has resumed its rehearsal schedule evenings at 7:30 in room AL 101 on the Gavilan College campus in Gilroy.

The next concert will be presented on Saturday Feb. 8 at the Gavilan College Theater with performances at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. This will be the annual Youth Concert featuring talented 14-year-old pianist Adler Ma, who is returning by popular demand following his performance last February with the orchestra. This time he will perform the Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 5, “The Emperor,” accompanied by the orchestra.

Tickets for this concert are on sale at Dorothy McNett’s Place in Hollister, Terry’s House of Candles in San Juan Bautista, the California Music Company, Porcella’s Music and Snappy Photo, all in Gilroy and the Music Tree ln downtown Morgan Hill.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors age 55 and over and $7 for students 12-18.
