Hollister residents Heather Swenor and David Tari announced their engagement at Thanksgiving dinner last year.
Swenor’s parents are Tom and Juanita Swenor of Hollister. Tari’s parents are Pete and Jackie Tari of Surprise, Ariz.
The couple were engaged at the bride’s sister’s house. They plan to marry April 3, 2004.
Swenor graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in psychology. She currently works at Pet Friends as an animal care taker. Tari graduated from California State University, Hayward with a degree in kinesiology. He currently works at San Benito High School as the head athletic trainer and a teacher.
