The KSBW-TV8 News crew together with the Salvation Army kicked off its 21st Annual “Share your holiday” with its’ 13-hour live telcast from Nob Hill locations around the Central Coast Friday, Dec. 7. Shoppers exited the Hollister store and handed over donations of groceries to local firefighters as they sorted, boxed and weighed the goods for families in need during this Christmas season. In the background the San Benito High School Scarlet Regiment Marching Band let the sounds of the holidays fill the air with the spirit of Christmas as TV-8 weatherman Jim Vanderzwaan interviewed people who were making their donations. In it’s 21st year the “Share your holiday,” has become a staple for many Central Coast viewers who make contributions to needy families in their community.
