Here are some things to do in San Benito County this weekend.

Join the Native Daughters for Admission Day: The Native Daughters of the Golden West will host a barbecue on Admission Day, Sept. 9, from noon to 3 p.m. in celebration of California’s Birthday. The barbecue will be held at the Native Daughters’ Adobe, 302 Fourth St., in San Juan. The cost of the meal is a $10 donation and take out is available. The meal includes barbecue tri tip, rolls, homemade baked beans, green salad, assorted desserts and beverages.

Wildlife Extravaganza: The Pinnacles National Monument 2012 speaker series continues Sept. 8 at 2 p.m. with a photo compilation of the wildlife species that are known to inhabit the park. The even will be informative, fun, entertaining and family-friendly event. Kids activities will be included. The event will be held at the West Visitor Contact Station (Soledad side), off Hwy. 146. Bull riding: The Hollister Chute Out Bull Riding and Xtreme Bronc Riding event will be Sept. 8, at 1 p.m., at the San Benito County Fair Grounds. The vendor booths and entertainment will open at noon., with the main event at 6 p.m. Not associated with PBR this year, the event will still feature professional bull riders. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $30 for box seats and $10 for children 10 and under. Hollister Chute Out golf tournament: The PBR will kick off with a golf tournament on Sept. 7. The tournament, which is moving from Ridgemark to Bolado Park, begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start. Registration costs $55 per person. Tickets include 18 holes of golf, a cart, a gift bag and a barbecue lunch. Afterward, the party will continue at the 19th Hole Booze and Food in Tres Pinos with a performance by country music singer Luke Kaufman, who will also announce the bull riding.

Italian Harvest Festa: The second annual Italian Harvest Festa will be held at Uesugi Farms, 14485 Monterey Road, in Morgan Hill, Sept. 8 and 9, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dance the tarantella to live Italian entertainment, play bocce ball and indulge in delectable Italian foods and desserts. Beer, water, soda and wine will also be available for purchase. The kid’s area will include train rides, face painting and kid-friendly foods. Admission is free. Parking is $5 per car.
