The Hollister Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9242 9242 Auxiliary approved donations to the Liberty Bell Drill Team, Hospice and VFW Post 7895 for the auxiliary’s fundraiser for veterans at its March 12 meeting.
The auxiliary will place flags on the graves of veterans on Memorial Day, May 26, as part of the more than 800 flags it places each year.
May 16 is the auxiliary’s 56th anniversary, which will be celebrated at its regular meeting May 17. The next general meeting will be held April 9 at the former Fremont School.
