Youth Alliance is participating in the Dignity in Schools National Week of Action in partnership with San Benito High School.
The Week of Action goes from October 23 to October 28 and provides students, administrators and the community with the opportunity to have a dialogue about education issues such as school climate, safety and youth supports like social emotional learning.
The high school is hosting a series of events to raise awareness about youth and education during the national event.
MONDAY OCT 23 and TUESDAY OCT 24
Students at San Benito High School and San Andreas Continuation School will have an opportunity to voice their opinions and display them during the pop-up Youth Voice: Art + Justice Exhibit.
At the lunchtime event in the quad, students will have the opportunity to share their opinions, needs and aspirations using art, photos and written comments. There will be banners with prompts where students will be able to write down their opinions.

Youth Alliance will host a teach-in at San Andreas Continuation School. It will begin with a community circle at 11:22 a.m. and end with a restorative justice workshop at 3 p.m. The teach-in will start with a community circle of students, administrators and community members to share their opinion on safety, school climate, education and more.
