Around 3:55 p.m. Tuesday, a sport-utility vehicle rolled over multiple times south of the intersection of Fairview and McCloskey roads, causing “minor to moderate injuries” to a 20-year-old woman, said San Benito County Fire Department Capt. Jim Dellamonica.

“We decided not to airlift based on the ambulance’s assessment,” he said. The extent of the injuries was not known as of press time.

California Highway Patrol officers declined to comment on what happened during the accident other than to say the vehicle rolled over.

The green GMC went through a white, wooden fence on the west side of Fairview Road and ended up on its side with the hood pointing eastward. Most of the windows in the SUV were broken, and there was damage to the hood and front grill.
