A Hollister city firefighter puts out the flames atop a roof Wednesday afternoon after the structure caught fire on Memorial Drive.

The Hollister Fire Department responded to a structure fire Wednesday afternoon near the intersection of Sunset and Memorial drives.

The fire started at about 3:15 p.m. Authorities diverted traffic off of Memorial Drive onto Oak Street, which connects with Valley View Road.

There did not appear to be any injuries caused by the blaze.
