Here are some things to do in San Benito County this weekend.

1. An Evening in Tuscany

Sacred Heart Parish School presents An Evening in Tuscany.  Enjoy dining, dancing, silent and live auctions Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Bolado Park Pavilion. Happy Hour is at 5 p.m., auction preview is from 6 to 7:30 p.m., dinner and live auction is at 7:30 p.m., dancing to The Money Band until midnight. All proceeds benefit Sacred Heart Parish School.  Tickets are $75 per person. Call 637-4157 for tickets.

2. Casino fundraiser

The Hollister Senior Group is having a fundraiser trip to Chukchansi Casino on Feb. 4. The group will depart from the Hollister Community Center, 300 West St., at 7:30 a.m. The cost is $30 a person and which participant will receive $10 e-cash and $5 food coupons. Anyone 21 and older is welcome to join the trip. Reservations and prepayment are required, and taken on a first come, first served basis. 3. A Glimpse of Our Past

The San Benito Historical Society will host an historic walking tour of downtown Hollister, Feb. 4, at 9 a.m. The cost is $5 per person or $8 per family, and includes a copy of the Welcome to Historic Downtown Hollister walking tour. The route is one and a half miles in length. Space is limited to 20 people so call ahead for reservations. Details: Sharlene Van Rooy, 524-2292.

4. Historical society lunch

The San Juan Bautista Historical Society will host its meeting Feb. 4, at Dona Esther’s restaurant in San Juan. The lunch program will begin at 11:30 a.m., with a program to follow at 12:15 p.m. This month’s speaker will be Althea Slibsager, who will talk about memories of San Juan Bautista. 5. Oriana Chorale starts rehearsal

The Oriana Chorale is inviting local singers to join the choir as it prepares for a spring concert featuring Vivaldi’s “Gloria” and several other classical pieces. The concerts will be May 16, 18 and 19. Rehearsals begin Jan. 23, at 7:15 p.m., at the United Methodist Church, at the corner of Fifth and Monterey Streets, in Hollister.
