Michael Spencer, 42, was arrested 6:30 a.m. Tuesday at his home on the 700 block of Gettysburg Way near 10th Street for possession of child pornography.
Six San Jose Police officers and five Gilroy Police officers entered Spencer’s home on a warrant, and allegedly found pornographic child images on his computers, according to San Jose Sgt. Greg Lombardo. They transported him to Santa Clara County Jail, where he remains in custody on $25,000 bail.
Spencer, an IT professional at an undisclosed company, has no prior criminal history, said Lombardo. If convicted, he faces up to one year in jail.
