A big rig became fully engulfed in flames Tuesday morning after

Road in San Benito County, according to the California Highway
Patrol.
A big rig became fully engulfed in flames Tuesday morning after it hit the center divide on northbound Highway 101 near Betabel Road in San Benito County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident reported at 8:44 a.m. and the driver, 45, of Salinas, did not sustain any known injuries, according to the CHP.

The 2007 Peterbilt semi-truck hit the divide and came to a rest on the southbound side of Highway 101, before becoming engulfed in flames.

All lanes were open at 11:18 a.m.
