The 10-11s were given an easy test against Ferrasci, as the Salinas squad was forced to forfeit due to a lack of players, advancing Hollister National to the next round of the elimination bracket.

The local All-Stars will try to get a game in against Salinas Continental on Thursday evening at Soledad. First pitch is 5 p.m.

A win on Thursday would then advance Hollister National to the next round of the elimination bracket on Sunday morning.

As for the 9-10 “B” team, it too advanced to the next round on Wednesday evening when it defeated Ferrasci by a narrow 7-5 margin.

The win moves Hollister one step closer to the title game. It will now square off against North County on Thursday evening at Salinas Continental. First pitch is 5 p.m.

On Wednesday, North County defeated Greenfield 14-11 to advance to the next round against Hollister National.
