34-year-old Hollister man suspected of sexually assaulting his
ex-girlfriend at his residence July 21, according to the local
department.

The accuser, 32, called authorities Friday, July 22, and reported that her ex-boyfriend David Steven Quintero sexually assaulted her the prior day after a verbal argument in the residence, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office released today.
According to the statement, the accuser alleged they got into a verbal argument and when she tried to leave, “Quintero physically and sexually assaulted” her.
Deputies went to his residence Friday afternoon to arrest him, but he was not there and remains outstanding. There is a warrant for Quintero’s arrest, according to the sheriff’s office.
