The Hollister Police Department is investigating a stabbing
homicide that occurred around 3 a.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of
Sunnyslope Road, according to a statement from police.

Police were dispatched to a report of a fight with a male stabbing victim around 3 a.m. They located him in a driveway on Sunnyslope Road, west of Valley View Road, as the victim suffered from from chest trauma. Despite life-saving efforts by AMR and the Hollister Fire Department, responders pronounced the victim deceased a short time later.
Release of the victim’s identity is pending the notification of next of kin, according to police. Police Sgt. Eric Olsen said the department Saturday could not release more information beyond details in the statement.
The Hollister Police Department noted how it is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect or suspects in this incident.
