Tiger Woods announced through his personal website today he has committed to play in the upcoming Frys.com Open at CordeValle Golf Club in San Martin.
Tournament director Ian Knight confirmed the news this morning.
“We’re very excited to have Tiger playing in our event this year,” Knight said of the PGA Tour fall series event, which runs Oct. 6-9. “It’s going to do a lot for attendance. It’ll be great for spectators, and we think it’s going to generate a significant amount of money to our charities with the tournament.”
