Mason Christopher Rickard

Mason Christopher Rickard was born Nov. 15, 2011 at Kaiser San Jose to Danielle Myers-Rickard and Don Rickard Jr. of Gilroy. He weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce.

Liliana Irene Garza

Liliana Irene Garza was born Nov. 14, 2011 at Saint Louise Regional Hospital to Selenia and Alberto Garza of Gilroy. She weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces.

HONORS

Molly Howe

Sgt. Molly Howe was awarded Career Planner of the Year for the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, USMC. Molly is the career planner for the Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 3 at MCAS Miramar. She was selected from peer career planners by the chain of command.

Molly also graduated magna cum laude from Park University with a bachelor’s degree degree in management.

She is the daughter of Jack and Ann Howe of Gilroy.

Diana Rodriguez

Air Force Airman Diana M. Rodriguez graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Rodriguez is the daughter of Martha and Miguel Rodriguez of Hollister and a 2008 graduate of Gilroy High School.

WEDDING

Skow/Rohrer

Kelly Skow and Robert Rohrer Jr. were married Sept. 10, 2011. The couple exchanged vows at Glad Tidings Church in San Juan Bautista with Pastor Roger Britt officiating. To honor the bride’s late father, Doug Skow, the couple lit a candle in his memory. Family and friends joined the couple for a reception at the VFW Hall in San Juan Bautista.

Kelly is the daughter of Patricia Skow, of Hollister, and the late Douglas Skow. She was raised in Hollister and graduated from San Benito High School before relocating to the Paso Robles/Creston area 18 years ago. Kelly is employed by Suburban Propane and also helps out at the family’s hay and cattle company.

Robert is the son of Dale Bulaski of Chesapeake, Va. and Robert Rohrer Sr., of Paso Robles. He is a third-generation native of Paso Robles and graduated from Paso Robles High School. Robert has been a part of his family’s business, Rohrer Hay and Feed/Cattle his entire life.

The couple honeymooned in Lake Tahoe, Virginia City and Reno and resides in the Paso Robles/Creston area.
