People fill up the computer work stations at the library Tuesday afternoon. Even with the growing popularity of the library it will be closed on Saturday's starting next month.

The San Benito County Free Library will celebrate the week by showcasing the library’s weekly programs, including adult literacy and conversation club. Other events include a potluck honoring library volunteers, a free resume “webinar” and an Author Night with Booktalks by Paul Shanley’s “The Chicken & the City Council of San Juan Bautista” and the Mariants’ “Surviving Bipolar’s Fatal Grip.”

National Library Week is sponsored by the American Library Association and takes place every April since 1958.
