Bill and Betty Starritt of Gilroy celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary April 8. The couple celebrated with a family dinner hosted by their kids.
Bill and Betty have four children, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and have been wonderful mentors to all of them.
The couple believes a happy marriage is established on love, respect and consideration of each other, a great sense of humor, lots of laughter, some tears and adventure.
Bill and Betty were married April 8, 1935.

Michael Paresa
Michael Paresa of Morgan Hill was named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at California Lutheran University. CLU students qualify for the Dean’s List by earning a 3.6 GPA in their academic subjects.
Paresa is a senior majoring in business.
Jacklyn Whitehead
Jacklyn Whitehead of Hollister was named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at California Lutheran University. CLU students qualify for the Dean’s List by earning a 3.6 GPA in their academic subjects.
Whitehead is a sophomore majoring in bioengineering.
