Funeral expenses hinder family
On Saturday, May 22nd my friend’s husband, Curtis Mendonca was
scheduled to have surgery at South Valley Medical in Gilroy. What
was to be a simple procedure became complicated and Curtis passed
on later in the afternoon. Curtis and his wife Jan Falcone have
been long time Hollister residents. Both of them were retired. Jan
was not prepared for her husbands passing. He was suppose to come
home from the hospital on Sunday. Instead, she is faced with
funneral expenses. Because he was her payee for social security,
her benefits are being suspended temporarily. Jan is know faced
with a very difficult financial hardship. Any donations would be
appreciated and would really help Jan. Donations could be sent to
