Dance Academy opens new studio on McCray
The San Benito Dance Academy has moved locations and is holding
a grand opening at the new studio at 101 McCray St.
The grand opening is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the
new site, and the business is inviting the public.

The San Benito Dance Academy has moved locations and is holding a grand opening at the new studio at 101 McCray St.
The grand opening is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the new site, and the business is inviting the public.
The dance academy recently moved, and the new building has about twice as much space as the old one on Maple Street and now has two dance rooms instead of one, said Kim Lavagnino, who runs the business.
She mentioned how the dance academy added some types of dance, including tap, jazz, yoga and modern, while ballet still is its main focus. San Benito Dance Academy has 10 different teachers.
The academy will also be holding auditions for its holiday production of the Nutcracker.
