She received the maximum sentence allowed.

GILROY

A Hollister woman was arrested in Gilroy on Monday at Wal-Mart, 7150 Camino Arroyo, on suspicion of petty theft, giving a false name to a peace officer, possession of stolen property, conspiracy to commit a felony, credit card fraud and burglary.

Eveny Mendoza, 25, was arrested at 5:10 p.m. at the store and also was wanted on warrants for possession of marijuana, disobeying a court order and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
