ARRESTS
Public drunkenness, San Benito Street
The police received a complaint of a man showing his genitals and urinating in public at 4:52 p.m. on Monday in the area of the intersection of Fourth and San Benito streets. The witness wanted to press charges against the 29-year-old male transient out of Hollister and the man was taken into custody. He was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness, and the complaint for indecent exposure was forwarded to the district attorney’s office.
Possession of narcotics, Monterey Street
At 9:32 a.m. Tuesday, a 22-year-old Hollister male was stopped during a routine traffic stop on the 800 block of Monterey Street. The suspect was on probation, which gave police the ability to search him. Upon the search, police found two baggies of Valium. The suspect was arrested and booked into the county jail.
Trespassing, Mica Court
At around 8 a.m. on Wednesday, five Hollister residents were caught trespassing on the 800 block of Mica Court. The suspects – four females ages 18, 19, 29 and 36 and one male, 38 – broke into a red-tagged house. A red-tagged house is a house that is deemed unlivable. All five were arrested, booked into the county jail and charged with trespassing.
CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS
Burglary, Flynn Road
At noon on Friday, someone broke into a storage container at Flynn Road RV & Ministorage, on the 700 block of Flynn Road. The unknown party stole personal belongings from the container.
Burglary, Nash Road
At 7 a.m. on Wednesday, an unknown suspect broke into a home on the 700 block of Nash Road and stole men’s clothing from the residence. Police said that the property was recovered.
No suspect information was available.
