Threats and brandishing a weapon, B Street

At 10:39 p.m. Tuesday police responded to a call on the 500 Block of B Street. The victim there reported that he had started his motorcycle to allow it to warm up, then walked inside. A short time later he heard someone revving the engine and went outside to investigate, according to police. Outside he saw a tattooed, Hispanic male walking from the motorcycle, police said, and the victim asked the suspect if he had touched the motorcycle. The suspect confirmed that he had, took an unknown object from his back pocket and began threatening the victim, who returned to his home and contacted police. Law enforcement soon contacted the suspect, who was captured after a short foot chase, according to police. The 30-year-old Hollister resident was booked into the county jail.

Vehicle Burglary, San Felipe Road

A vehicle parked In the Enterprise Rent A Car parking lot was broken into and burglarized, according to police. The reporting party told police that she was the daughter of the car owner, who had parked it on Dec. 24, and rented a vehicle from Enterprise so that she could visit relatives. Police reports show that a Pacific Gas & Electric access card was stolen.

Auto burglary, Chapel Road and Alvarado Street

Utensils, stationary, a headset and a gift card were among the items taken from a vehicle. A window was smashed, according to police reports taken at 12:05 p.m. Monday.
