Possession of unlawful paraphernalia, West Street

At 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday during a consensual contact visit from police, a 21-year-old Hollister woman was found to be in possession of a methamphetamine pipe on the 300 block of West Street. The suspect was arrested and booked for possession of the used pipe.

CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS

Public urination, McCray Street

A male subject was seen by an employee urinating in the parking lot of Pet World on the 400 block of McCray Street. The employee called in to report the incident at 5:14 p.m. Tuesday but the suspect left the scene before police arrived. Police said they have no suspect information other than a license plate number.

Burglary, Gibson Drive

At around 3 a.m. on Wednesday, an unknown suspect broke into a car on the 100 block of Gibson Drive. The suspect shattered the victim’s car windows and stole several items from the vehicle, according to police. Among the items stolen were CDs and sunglasses. No suspect information is available.

Received known stolen property, Sally Street

Officers were assisting San Benito County probation officers on a routine residence search of a citizen on probation at 6:37 p.m. on Wednesday, which resulted in the recovery of a stolen weapon. The search happened on the 800 block of Sally Street. The known suspect was not at home during the search and no arrest was made.

Marijuana possession, Monterey Street

During a traffic stop, an 18-year-old Hollister resident was found to be illegally transporting marijuana at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday. The stop happened on the 500 block of Monterey Street. The suspect was cited by police and released.

Forgery, San Felipe Road and Airline Highway

At 6:30 a.m. on Thursday at police headquarters, two reports were given to the Hollister Police Department regarding separate check-fraud cases. A suspect passed bad checks on the 1700 block of Airline Highway at Nob Hill Foods and the 500 block of San Felipe Road at Safeway. Police said the cases originated out of Watsonville but most of the transactions were done in Hollister. No suspect information is available.
