The Cardinals were paced by Adrian Medina’s two hits and two scoreless inning pitched, Tyler Heenan’s two innings pitched of no-hit baseball, and three defensive gems made by Karl Howe.
The Tigers were led by Daniel Guerrero, who had an RBI single and pitched the last inning to close the game. Dalan Hoskins had a three-run triple, and Travis Thedford had two solid at-bats with a single.
Rockies 10, Yankees 8
March 19
The Rockies were led by Brian Becerra, who reached base three times (1-for-1) with an RBI and a run scored, while Victor Banuelos scored three runs with an RBI and Cole Daniel scored two runs with an RBI and pitched two innings.
Staring for the Yankees were Kevin Salvas (3-for-4, two doubles, three RBI), Damien Botelho (2-for-3, double, two runs scored) and Eric Tomesetti (two shutout innings pitched).

Four Tiger pitchers combined for the shutout win, including Grant Bigness, Marcos Perez, Dalan Hoskins and Cody Gessell. Helping the Tigers offensively was Domonic Zamora, Cody Gessell (RBI single) and Travis Thedford, who hit a double and made an outfield catch during the last inning.

The Cardinals received outstanding performances to secure their win from the Tobias twins – Brian (2-for-3, triple and four RBI) and Russell (2-for-3, double and excellent defense). Ricky Lenoir also scored three times.
The Rockies were led by Ray Rueda (two singles, BB, pitched two innings), Marco Cosio (single, BB, three RBI and two innings pitched) and Michael Acosta (single, BB and a run scored).
