The Central Coast Barnstormers posted 24 offensive points for the third straight game and earned their third straight victory last Saturday in Atherton, where the semi-pro squad defeated the South Bay Stallions 24-7 and improved to 4-1 in the Northern California Football League.
The win places the Barnstormers all alone atop the National Conference South Division, which saw the Salinas Spartans (3-2) and the California Warriors (3-2) falter in their respective games last weekend. The Stallions (1-4), meanwhile, occupy last place in the division.
Central Coast will return home Saturday when the Sacramento Cobras (3-2) of the American Conference East Division visit the Garcia-Elder Sports Complex in Gilroy. Kick-off is at 6 p.m.
