Possession of a dangerous weapon, McCray Street

At 9:12 p.m. on Friday, police contacted a 15-year-old Hollister male juvenile about his involvement in a previous fight on the 200 block of McCray Street. The suspect was found to be in possession of brass knuckles. He was arrested for having a concealed weapon and was booked into juvenile hall.

Possession of a controlled substance, Hawkins Street

At 3:35 p.m. on Sunday, a 32-year-old Hollister man was riding his bike and failed to stop at a stop sign. Police saw this and tried to pull him over. The suspect didn’t stop for police and continued riding. He was finally stopped on the 100 block of Hawkins Street, patted down and found to be in possession of a bag of methamphetamine. He was arrested and booked into the county jail.

Assault with a deadly weapon, Valley View RoadAt 12:07 a.m. on Sunday, a victim was struck in the head by a golf club on the 1500 block of Valley View Road. Police said the victim was walking down the street when he was jumped by an unknown suspect. The victim could only describe the attacker as a Hispanic male. No further suspect information was available.

Vehicle theft, Wentz Alley

At 5:21 p.m. on Thursday, police received a report of a motor home that had been stolen from the 500 block of Wentz Alley. Police said the victim parked the motor home near a friends house for several weeks. The victim came back and found it had been stolen. No suspect information was available.

Possession of alcohol in a public place, Hazel Street

At 11:20 p.m. on Friday, a police officer on patrol noticed a group of individuals drinking in public on the 100 block of Hazel Street. A 27-year-old Hollister male was cited for having an open container and released.

Second-degree burglary, Trieste Drive

At 4:30 p.m. on Friday, police received a complaint about a residential burglary on the 1300 block of Trieste Drive. An unknown suspect smashed the front door and stole kitchenware. Police said the victim had recently moved into the residence. No suspect information was available.

Burglary, Bodega Court

At 11:30 p.m. on Friday, an unknown suspect broke into a car parked in the driveway of a residence on the 1600 block of Bodega Court. Police said that an iPod and an mP3 player were stolen from the car.
