action on Tuesday night at the District 9 All-Star Tournament (9-10
division), and both moved one step closer toward a finals bid with
comfortable, lopsided victories.

The Hollister American and National ‘A’ teams were both in action on Tuesday night at the District 9 All-Star Tournament (9-10 division), and both moved one step closer toward a finals bid with comfortable, lopsided victories.
Hollister American ‘A’ defeated Salinas American 25-0 in Gonzales to advance to today’s third round, where it will square off against Salinas National in Gonzales once again.
First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
Hollister National ‘A’, meanwhile, disposed of Salinas Atlantic by a 16-1 margin Tuesday at Ferrasci Park in Salinas to advance to today’s third round.
At The Weekend Pinnacle’s press time, though, there was no scheduled opponent for Hollister National. The team will play the victor between Ferrasci and Soledad, which completed play Tuesday night knotted in a 10-10 tie.
Hollister National’s next game will take place Friday in North Monterey County at 5:30 p.m.
