Woodside used 11 different scorers Friday to defeat the Anzar boys basketball team 66-16 at the San Jose Bulldog Invitational at San Jose High Academy.
Anzar, which is now 2-7 overall, went 1-2 at the Bulldog tournament, with its lone win coming against Latino College Prep by a 69-28 margin on Thursday night.
On Friday, Andres Gomez led the Hawks with 13 points, but was the only member of the Anzar basketball team to score in double digits. Mark Rania had two points and Izzy Parra had one.
Woodside jumped out to a 22-4 lead after one quarter, and controlled a 40-13 lead at halftime.
Mike York led Woodside with 11 points, while teammate Jordan Ruben added 10.
