Burglary, Monica Court

A daytime residential burglary occurred in the 1200 block of Monica Court between 5:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Oct. 27. Police reports do not contain a list of missing items.

Grand Theft, Santa Ana Road

Police reports indicate that sometime between 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday, a golf bag containing a set of golf clubs was stolen from a porch in the 300 block of Santa Ana Road.

Burglary, East and Seventh streets

Between 8:30 and 11:40 a.m. Wednesday police reports indicate that an iPod was taken from a victim’s automobile. There is no suspect information. HPD Capt. Bob Brooks, while helping to repair this report, asked that the public be advised that thieves often look into vehicles to see whether an iPod charger, or even an actual iPod, is laying around. “Any evidence of an expensive piece of technology should be concealed,” says Brooks.
